I hear people say that this salon uses relaxer in their shampoo and that doesn’t make sense to me because wouldn’t you smell it? Relaxers have a very distinguished smell so there is no way would sit there and allow them to put something in my hair that smells funny! I have been going to decisions for well over 5 years and I am natural and my curls are still the same my hair has never fallen out in fact it has grown tremendously. I love the owners, very nice and professional and I am the type of person that doesn’t let anyone do my hair so I highly recommend them!!!
My hair is long, thick and natural I've been going to Nancy at decisions off and on for years now. Never has my hair fell out or broke off after a visit to this salon. They use a majority of tresseme products when it comes to shampoo and conditioner and I've never seen or smelled anything funny inside the shampoo or conditioner. I've never witnessed any disgruntled customers or shady antics at the shop. Sounds like ppl just don't know how to properly care for their own hair and it fell out
I went to this salon last fall around November. They did a beautiful job on my natural and I received tons of compliments! HOWEVER, the job they did came with consequences! Weeks later after the style wore out, I washed my hair and my curls were falling out from the root! I saw curls in the sink! and I looked throughout my head and I saw that my hair was completely falling out from the root! At first I thought it was just heat damage, but I only been to the salon once and before that I didn't have heat on my hair for a year! So, after reading reviews and hearing stories from my own friends and their friends I am now convinced that this salon uses relaxer in their shampoo when shampooing natural hair clients! It would explain why my hair fell out the way it did ! BEWARE ladies! That is truly a sick practice they are using and I hope they stop! My hair hasn't recovered from the damage they caused and I most likely will have to start my natural hair transition again !
If you have THICK NATURAL HAIR, PLEASE DO NO GO HERE OR TO ANY DOMINICAN ESTABLISHMENT!!! This hair salon use perm products in their shampoos! Your hair will look nice for the first week or two then it will start to fall out due to breakage and your hair will thin out! They are "nice" to you in your face, but behind your back they are talking negative about your natural hair and they are trying to "fix" the problem by secretly giving you a perm!!! This establishment is disgusting and people should not spend ONE penny here !!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU TRULY CARE ABOUT YOUR HAIR!!
I leave there very satisfied. My hair is so bouncy and clean. You will never leave the. Salon dissatisfied.
This has happened to me and this has just happened to someone on Facebook. As soon as she posted about her experience, other people started posting about ALSO having a similar experience at Decisions Salon and other Dominican Salons!!! I really hope that this place get SHUT down and a big lawsuit is coming your way Decision Hair Salon!!
