I ordered Chef Jonathan's Famous Pulled Pork sandwich ($9). The pulled pork is piled onto a Brioche roll, which sound mundane. However, the pork is very flavorful, and slightly salty, which is a plus. Often, pulled pork is over-seasoned, but the chef here used restraint. What sets this pulled pork apart was the sriracha coleslaw, which was seasoned just right. The chef asked me if the sandwich was too spicy, I told him it wasn't spicy enough! All jokes aside, this alone with a side of pickles and chips was enough to fill me up. There are soups, salads, and excellent looking deserts (the table across from me loved the chocolate chip cookies) to satisfy any taste. The professionalism of the staff, the food quality (very fresh), and general atmosphere of the restaurant makes this a must visit. The simple fact that CK Cafe supports the community by providing jobs and food makes this cafe a must visit. 8.5-10. Myron Fields

Food Quality and Closing Thoughts
I decided to try CK Cafe simply because I liked the pictures of the restaurant on Yelp. The restaurant does have parking, but it can fill up quickly. The exterior of the building is very clean, bright, and well apportioned. I was especially happy that my arrival was after the lunch rush, so there was one couple other than myself present. The interior is very clean and orderly, and I was informed by the server that the restaurant was built about 2 years ago. The restaurant has an easygoing, comfortable atmosphere, and the layout is both logical and aesthetically pleasing. The patron can order directly from the counter, or can order while seated. The servers were very attentive, and made the experience an enjoyable one. While waiting for my food, I noticed donation cards that were in different denominations. She explained that CK Cafe provides meals to Camden residents at no charge via a community food kitchen. I also glimpsed a food truck in the parking lot that had the CK Cafe logo on it, so there's nothing wrong with hoping that Rutgers-Camden will be a future destination, right?
